Dragon Boating is not only about arms and shoulders, it provides a full-body workout, and is great for developing your core strength. Our current president has back surgeries 10 years ago, and Dragon Boating has made his back stronger than ever.
We're open to people of all ages and capabilities, so come and join us for a free session on the water at any of our three weekly training sessions - training times below. (For more info please go to out Training page)

Bring a water bottle, a towel, shoes and clothes that you don't mind getting wet (Yes, it is a water sport).
It does not hurt to bring a change of clothes. We will provide paddles for you and a life jacket if you are not a strong swimmer, but it is highly unlikely you will need it.
We train on the gorgeous Lane Cove river starting from a private boat shed pontoon in Woolwich (see map below).
